i've claimed the cockatiel from our aviary, shes a darling , shes going through a bit of a moult now and is quite itchy, so whos the itcher! me!! and i think its quite affectionate and cute, she even sticks her tongue out! she has a balance issue though, shes a bit wobbly, shes a very pretty little girl, well big girl, shes about 7 years old i think.

okay, maybe not, paris claimed her now and im allergic to their dust -.- you should see my left arm!

Are you sure your allergic to there dust could it be the nails of the bird causing you to be itchy. I know if my birds walk on my bare skin i get a bit itchy due to there nails irritating my skin. One way to see if your allergic to the dust is have the bird on a hard surface and pat the bird then if you get a irritation then i would say your allergic to the powder cockatiels produce. I even get a irritation when my birds scratch me when they walk on my skin gets really red and sometimes inflamed but as soon as the bird keeps off my skin within 30minutes the itchy and inflamation is gone.

Well, ollie doesn't do it and he has eagle feet! :/ only cockatiels do it to me, weird
