Hey guys, next year I'm going down south to do veterinary science and I think it will be too expensive to bring my lovebird Bicki down with me. Even if I did, I don't think I'd have any time for him. I'm the only one in our family that spends time with him, cleans his cage, water bowl etc. so if I leave him there with my family, there will be no doubt that he will be neglected. So I'm deciding to give him away to someone that can give him the attention he needs. I've thought of various places on where to give him, and I think the breeder will be happy to take him back. She was astounded to hear that he had learnt tricks and has all the time in the world to spend with her lovebirds. Bicki has pretty much spent all of his life with humans, with no socialising with other birds. So I'm wondering how he'll be with other lovebirds all of a sudden? Would he yearn human attention? Or would he be happy where he is? I have no idea... What's the best place to give him to?
