Lovin' that new camera hey Trace. Fantastic shots! Did you ask the corellas to smile for those pics? They really look like they are posing for the photos. Good to see you still have the Kings hanging around. They certainly add colour to the blue sky

We have a flock of about 100 Corellas around my neighbourhood at the moment. Late at night you can hear them flying around. Goodness knows to where.

Wherever the Corellas are going...........could you point them in my direction. I would love to see them flying around in the wild. We see the odd one now and then, but we mostly have Cockatoos and galahs, and there is no shortage of them.

We used to only have a few but there has been a population explosion this summer. We have a large colony of flying foxes as well so it is very busy in the night sky. What with the odd plane from Bankstown Airport which is 2 km away.

Yes we get a few flying foxes. I actually don't like their smell it makes me sick. I can smell them from inside the house....

I had one poop on my car down the door, it went inside the car and took me ages to clean it up. Yuk.

Those Corela's come over our way Laraine we hear them every night and at one stage we had about 40 of them in our yard everyday, admittedly we used to put seed out for them, trouble was that it finished up a fight between the corelas and the Sulpher Crested cockatoos in the finish and it was like a war zone in our yard for a while in the mornings, we still get the Cockatoos but they don't come into the yard anymore except for one, I think he is an escapee form somewhere.

We have one very tame Cockatoo in our neighbourhood too. He comes and sits on my plastic chairs every morning. I'd say he was once a pet. My neighbour, who has passed away now, always said she knew who owned him. I wonder if it is the same flock or we are being overrun in Sydney by Corellas.

Probably the same flock Laraine they were very vocal last night and seemed to be heading towards Oatly Park. John

Hi all, I took this photograph of a wild Corella just on the side of the road at City West Link in Sydney. www.parabellumfoto.com/juvenile-long-billed-corella/It's a juvenile bird. It's sitting on a decaying gumtree branch chewing away at the stump. I hope you all like my photograph.

Oh my gosh. It’s so gorgeous. The colours are very eye catching and its face very attractive, you are so lucky to have it with you.
