AJ enjoyed her little holiday (which turned out to be 5 days!), which is great. I think she enjoyed the company of all the other birds. My neighbours have an Ekkie, Sulfur Crested, Alex's, Budgies and a Sunnie that are in cages on the back deck (they get time out in the house, too!) not to mention all the other birds in the aviaries! LOL Their kids adored AJ - they were playing with a ball, rolling it along the floor, and AJ would chase it and try to kill it. hahaha AJ has also picked up some words from the Alex's up there - Sexy Girl, and Hello AJ. I haven't heard the "rack off" yet, thank goodness! As much as she enjoyed her time up there, she was REALLY happy to come home. I let her out when I went to pick her up, and she got a major dose of the snuggles! She was almost asleep on my shoulder when I was scratching her neck. I think I was rather lucky to be able to bring her home at all! They all loved her so much! None of them have had Galah's before, so they had a lot of fun with the antics that go along with the territory. So all is well here. AJ has gotten over her naughties, thankfully! She is maturing into a lovely bird. Even hubby is smitten with her! LOL (he always says they are MY animals.....he is such a sook at heart). Although it will be interesting to see how we go when she goes through puberty!

Well that is lovely that AJ had a lovely holiday too. ;D Galahs are lovely birds and usually are nice natured. My girl was just the sweetest bird and rarely bit ......... but if she did it could mostly be put to hormones towards the end of the year. Bo never laid an egg either until she was around 10 years old (she may have even been older). But sadly passed away suddenly at 15 years of age.

Glad to hear AJ had a wonderul time visiting other feathered friends. AJ has probably learnt a lot of new noises whilst visiting! And even better to hear that she is winning hubby's heart! All the animals, both wild and pet ones that I feed, always seem to be mine until they do something cute and then they're his as well. Our little quaker keeps winning my hubby over because everytime I get him out, he walks straight up to Mick and looks for cuddles, and of course............he get's them! Oh, and good luck with puberty! ;D

Seriously, MEN! LOL AJ has him wrapped around her little finger! She is such a tart with him. She has him trained to take her to her favorite lilly pilly tree, which is fruiting atm, and he will hold out his arm so she can eat the berries. When she finishes with one bit of the tree, she gets him to take her to another bit! It is SO funny! The pic is case in point. LOL Attachments:
