Hi all, What a great forum this looks to be!
I am 22 yrs young, I live in Melbourne and have 1 dog, 1 Cockatiel and many show and breeding rabbits (I am a registered breeder).
I am hoping to start to add some more Cockatiels in the near future. My fella is only a pet one which I have inside the house - he doesnt know how to fly due to a developmental problem.
I was wondering how do i find a reputal breeder? I cant seem to find where to go to find reputal breeders of Cockatiels to get some pairs from.

Thank you for such the warm welcome and all the breeder suggestions too!
I will be having a look at 2 young 8-9 week olds that one of the breeders you mentioned has, cinnamon pearl split whiteface and reverse cinnamon pied. They're from different clutches from different parents so they'll be my first pair. I havent had much luck finding a proven pair yet, i'll keep my eyes open for some proven birds as well.
Thanks for the help.
I'll have to post pictures if i get these two birds.

Hi and welcome Tielluver. Tiels are such sweet birds. I have 2 girls. One dirty grey split for pied and a cinnamon pearl. Good luck getting those birds. They sound gorgeous.

You can get closed rung or split rings on the birds legs.....or some birds are not rung at all. Closed rung means it is a solid ring without a split.
