Hi Oldbreeder, no not a new mutation but a mutation anyway. At this point in time they are a WA Golden Pied or a East Coast Pied but are not really Pied so i am told. Anyway i have been breeding them for almost 2 years now. One of the first chicks i bred. This little one is my latest chick i am rearing. I would say your parent birds are carrying the same gene in other words they are split pied. This is a pic of an Adult pair of WA Goldens.

What cute babies, and beautiful colours. I think I'm going to have to get myself a pair. Would they be alright in with Green Cheeks if it wasn't breeding season?
