Hi, my partner and I live in Epping, Melbourne, and we're looking for our first cobalt lovebirds together.
We don't want to buy from a petstore as we've only seen shy and unhealthy looking specimens so far, so we're looking for a breeder that hand-raises their birds.
We've both owned lovebirds before and I've weaned a few, handraised most of mine, so I have experience with young birds.
Basically, we want an ethical breeder who lets their young birds get positive human contact early on, and we're having trouble finding one.
Can anyone suggest a breeder they know of that we could contact?
