I just had to! I couldn't leave the poor little thing at the pet shop......he was miserable! ;D

Went to get a few fish with my daughter today, and well, there were a couple of cockatiels there. Both looked like they've been roughed up a fair bit, either by each other, themselves or other birds. This shop has a big octagonal aviary with sections to have different birds in, but the wires have been chewed and there are holes all over the place.

Anyway, I don't care for this pet shop, but it's where my daughter wanted to go - and there isn't a whole lot of choice here in Coffs! I had been thinking of getting another tiel so Blaze can have a friend - she's so lonely, and the kids don't spend time with her. When I saw this little boy, I just had to take him home and give him the life he deserves. His tail feathers are all chewed, but I know that I can get him through that. I'd say he really needs a good shower!

I have him in quarantine right now, of course, and Blaze is having a holiday in with Sonic. LOL

Oh, and we have named him Spirit. I'll get some pics soon.
