Hello All.
Just joined up, although i have been stalking this site through my other half Ozwell's account.
I have been around birds all my life, my dad is a mad bird lover, and my other half is even more so lol ;D
I've only just really started to get my own birdy family going, I have a pair of sun conures, a special needs cockatiel called cookie and some rainbow lorikeet mutations - i just got a beautiful Eccie hen from Vankahri from here! She has the best personality of friendly when she wants to be, but always nosy ;D
I also have two cats and i breed Dwarfe lop Rabbits, although i'm cutting back on the bunnies, as it's harder to find them good homes here in the middle of Nowhere.
Anyway enough on that and Hope to chat on the forum soon.

Welcome Anna and Ember ;D ;D I am glad you finally introduced yourself.......and as you know I am SOOOOOOOO Glad you got my girl and you have picked a beautiful name for her too. Ember........not even I could have picked a nicer name for her. ;D

Hi Tracey, and thankyou for the warm welcome. Yeah i though i should actually get around to logging on myself, or i might get in trouble with Austin  I actually have no idea where the name Ember came from, it just seemed to fit her, I was trying to think of something that would go with her colour and her personality, and she sure is just that bit firey LOL  |

Thankfully i've only had love bite's when i've been pushing my luck, so not to bad. She has made Austin bleed tho - told him it would happen to!  (She has to come out of the cage before she's happy for you to be all over her, and her put his hand in her territory) although give her a few minitues and some food to con her with and she's happy with everyone again LOL I swear that bird is ruled by her stomach she loves anyone with food it seems

Hi and welcome Anna. Ember sounds like a character. I've met your other half. A friend and I went to his place as she was going to get a bird or two from him. He is a lil bird obsessed hehehe (and he's not the only one around here  ) |

Hi Anna, welcome. Sounds like bird keeping is in your blood, with both your dad and your partner being bird obsessed people. I love bunnies. One thing I could never have when living in Qld, but when I moved South, soon added one to my family. |
