I lost 3 Bourke's (1 rosa and 2 normal) and a lutino Red Rump chick due to the floods. The Bourke's were fed tap water - our tap water is contaminated and it poisoned them, the female died in my hands. 4-6 more were looking very sick but I gave them bottled water with Apple Cider Vinegar and the next day they looked a bit better.
The Red Rump chick kept jumping from the nest and my mother kept putting her back in the box - if I had been able to get home (was cut off from home by flood) I would have taken her in for h/r after the third time.
Tragic times for animals as well as people.

I'm so sorry to hear that Karen. The floods and their aftermath have and will be devastating for peoples' pets.
Fly free beautiful ones.

Very sorry Karen. I am feeling for all the animals both lost and wandering as well as the ones that perished. I know people have lost their lives as well, but the animals are usually the forgotten victims. I hope your water supply is on the mend.
