Good work. When Butch escaped, he didn't yet have a mate. I tempted him back to me by calling to him & with a banana too. He was in a 30ft gum tree across the street from our house.

Keep us posted Laraine. Flossy's plan sounds a good one.

My boy has been spotted at Panania which is 9 kms from my place . I'll put more signs up in that area. Fingers crossed. I hadn't heard anything about him for about 10 weeks.

No more sightings, I would be over the moon if I got him back. I have been putting more signs up in the last sighting area.

I'VE GOT MY BIRD BACK!!!!!!!! After six months on the loose, I had a phone call on Thursday night from a young couple from Minto, which is 22 kms from me, who have had him for six weeks. The wife saw one of my signs at Picnic Point that day when visiting her mother. Thank heavens I put them up a few weeks ago.
He landed on her shoulder when she was in her yard and they tried to find the owner thinking it was local. He used to like landing on my shoulder which is how he escaped in the first place. I have been telling him off since. lol.

That is absolutely amazing - after so long I would have never thought you would see him again If only he could tell you what he has been up to for the last 6 months! Well done for not giving up on him cheers, Mike

I'd love to know all the things he got up to while he was away. I bet he had a great time. First he was sighted in Liverpool, then Wattle Grove, then Liverpool again, then Panania then nothing for 3 months......... He liked to be on the move.

I would like to know how many hours I spent putting up flyers and checking out where he was sighted. It really was lucky as the flyer that she saw was the last one I put up a few weeks ago. You just need lots and lots of advertising.
