I have activated the Karma option for each member, you can vote one way or the other on each member as you see fit, like or dislike , It's a bit of fun and that's all it's meant to be if people start to abuse it I will remove it from the forum and introduce a warning system ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. Please remember other members have feelings and no one likes to be told they are not a popular person, so please use it appropriately and join in the fun.................oh and remember the Mods can see who makes the Karma addition ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. I don't get it. I see most people have a number against their "Karma" and saw a post where someone was pretty happy to get a "Karma". How does this work? I want to get in on the action!

there you go Kim. Your wish is my command. ;D
If someone says something or does something positive and you think it deserves recognition.....then you click on "exult" ........ we tend not to use "smite" as that is negative.

We have decided to call the little one "Snickers". Cameron started calling him that a few weeks ago and a couple of the members said they liked it too. I think I was a bit worried that people would laugh at it but apparently it's a good bird name!! I'm very glad that he is now named.

Wow the use of positive reinforcement! I like it!
I was a bit disappointed I couldn't smite myself (I just wanted to see what would happen!) lol
Anyway I did exalt one person but all I seemed to get is there profile. Is this the way it works?
Cheers,
Bulli

yes for me that is how it works. You just press on exalt and that gives them a point ....... positive reinforcement lol but I think you can only do one karma point every so often. I can't remember the time frame actually ........ maybe every 15 mins......or is it daily?

You may only modify a member's karma once each hour. You will be able to exalt or smite again at May 16, 2008, 6:32pm
Hey well I found out that it is one point per hour!
Cheers,
Bulli
