Hi everyone, I am very proud to announce the arrival of my first princess parrot baby woooohooooo ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D She is on six eggs so if i'm super lucky there are some more to hatch, if not 1 is fantastic. Photos will follow when mum is more comfortable with me peering in. As they are first time parents I am trying not to hassle them too much. Btw mum princess is the one in my avatar. Updates shortly

how lucky are you Jane. My canaries were first time parents...........and I just couldn't help myself but sneak a peak everytime she was off the nest. I have noticed this time she is not budging...........least not while I am around. LOL ;D

congats on the baby, hope you have more by now. My daughter has a green pair & another pair with a blue male & split to blue hen. The greens had 4 babies the blues had 5 but lost 2. I am now rearing 7 in my lounge room. They are about a week off starting to feed themselves. They sure are noisey little blighters. Both lots of parents are back on eggs again now but don't know if we'll get a second clutch..

Here's a mobile phone snap I got while mum princess had gone to check out the fresh breakfast I got them. She spends alot of time in with bub so I didn't want to risk going for the camera and finding her back in the nest when I returned.
