WOW J think you got the bargain of the year there. I paid $1000 a bird for mine. Your birds look like what they are calling the East Coast Pied. Mine are supposed to be related to the WA or Golden Pied.

Sarah sunnies are really cute and they can be trained to be quite. Have 5 young ones at the moment so far so good. But then i am not spoiling them. Leave that up to the new owner.

they are one of my favourite parrots but i just thought with my 3 eckies inside i might start a riot noise wise with them all inside. I cant train my plucker who likes to scream to be quiet i cover him if he is really bad.

Know what you mean had a couple of boarders {SUNS} on the weekend i have 10 sunnies all up at the moment and these two were the loudest. They were terrible.
No use you adding to the noise at your place. You don't have to tell me it does get to be a bit much at times. But having said that the suns and the eclectus don't seem to compete with each other. Well they don't here, but get a strange sunny visit you just about need ear plugs.

Problem with keeping parrots in the Uk is the loud noise they make. We don't have big massive gardens so are really close to our neighbours. Alot of our homes are joined to our neighbours. I have plenty of friends who keep parrots and I do admire them but I know if I was to keep them I would have mjor noise complaints from neighbours and would get a visit from an Enviromental Officer?
